I ran into an issue with my booking and tried to get support to help, but this is where it got annoying. I kept getting passed from one person to another, and nobody seemed to have a clear answer or an actual fix. It dragged on way longer than it should have, it felt like once they had my money, they weren’t really interested in helping anymore.

I reached out to Gate1Travel a few times with a question about my booking, my gut feeling quickly was that no one was actually going to help. The phone wait was way too long, and my emails felt like they just disappeared somewhere. When I finally did get a response, it didn’t really answer anything. It was frustrating, especially after already paying for the trip, and it just left me feeling uneasy about the whole experience

I booked a trip with Gate1Travel, the itinerary planning was all over the place. My sister and I kept looking at the schedule wondering how some of it was supposed to work. A few days were crammed with way too much, while other days barely had anything planned, so it really felt like no one had actually checked whether the timing made sense.

I tried asking questions before we left, but the responses were slow and didn’t really clear things up. Instead of feeling excited for the trip, I ended up feeling stressed and unsure about what to expect. For what we paid, I thought the planning would be much smoother. I wouldn’t book with them again.

I had a good trip overall. The optional excursions were fun and definitely worth doing, though... a couple of them felt a little rushed at times.

The hotels were better than I thought. Clean. Good locations. Breakfast was fine too. One room was a bit tiny, but overall I was happy

I really liked the pace of our Gate1 trip. The days were full, but not in that exhausting, check-your-watch, hurry-up-and-get-back-on-the-bus kind of way. We got to see a lot, like the main sights, little neighborhoods, local shops, scenic spots, and a few places I probably wouldn’t have figured out on my own. But we still had enough downtime to grab a coffee, sit in a square, wander down a side street, take photos, go back to the hotel for a bit, or just do nothing for an hour. It felt organized without feeling like we were being dragged around from sunrise to bedtime. For me, it was a nice balance of seeing things, having meals, doing tours, and still having time to breathe.

I got the booking done in the end, so that part was okay, but the site felt a bit clunky here and there. I had to go back a couple of times to double-check the details because some of it wasn’t super clear. Not a huge issue, just feels like it could be smoother.

I had to cancel my booking, and it was handled okay. The refund took around a week or so to come through, maybe a bit longer, but it did get sorted in the end.

Everything stayed pretty much on time for us. The pickups and transfers happened when they were supposed to, and there weren’t any major delays. The schedule was easy to follow, but I did feel a bit rushed at times trying to keep up with it all.

For the price, this trip was a really good deal. The hotels were perfectly decent, the guides were kind and helpful, and overall I felt like we got more than we paid for. What I appreciated most was that it didn’t just feel like checking places off a list, it gave us a chance to enjoy the experience without worrying too much about the cost. I came away feeling like it was money well spent.

They got back to me and answered my questions before I left, which I really appreciated. It made everything feel a lot less Stressful before my trip.

I was really happy with how well this tour was put together. Everything started on time, the guides were friendly and actually knew what they were talking about, and the whole day just felt easy. Compared with a few other tours I’ve done, this one was way more organized and less stressful. Definitely a solid experience.

Overall, the transfers were good. The buses were on time, which I kind of expected since these services usually run on a schedule. The only thing was the airport pickup was a bit confusing at first, but I assumed it was just the usual busy airport chaos. Once I figured out where to go, everything was fine.

The flight arrangements were okay overall!!! Not awful or anything, but definitely not the smoothest experience either... The times changed, and I ended up having to double-check a bunch of stuff myself, which was kind of annoying!! It all worked out in the end, so I can’t complain too much... but I really wish the updates had been clearer!!! 3 stars feels about right

Overall, the trip was good and we definitely saw a lot for what we paid!!! Most of the hotels were clean enough, and our guide was really nice and helpful, which made things easier!!!

That said, some days felt way too packed!!! We were constantly moving from one place to the next, and a couple of the transfers were kind of confusing, so I found myself wishing we had more free time to just relax or explore on our own!!!

Gate1 was fine overall, just not something I’d call amazing!!! I’d maybe book with them again, but next time I’d look much more closely at the schedule so I know how rushed it’s going to feel!!!

I booked a local tour with Gate1 kind of on a whim, i’m glad I did. The guides were really friendly and clearly knew their stuff, and they brought us to a few little spots I never would’ve found on my own. The hotels were totally fine — nothing fancy, but comfortable enough. One pickup was late, which was annoying in the moment, but they sorted it out well. I just wish the updates came a little faster. Overall though, it was a good trip and I’d probably book with them again.

From what I remember, the app worked fine enough, but the main thing that stuck with me was how limited the destinations felt. I kept looking for places I thought would be included and couldn’t really find many options. Maybe I’m forgetting a few, but overall it just felt like there weren’t enough places to choose from.

I really liked that our tour group wasn’t too big because it made it easy to keep up with the guide, hear what was going on, ask questions when we wanted, and still enjoy each stop without feeling packed in or rushed or like we were constantly trying to find space

We did have a good trip, so I don’t want this to sound like I’m just complaining. The tour itself was enjoyable and the hotels were mostly fine. That said, the guide was kind of hit or miss. He definitely knew his stuff, but at times he rushed everyone along and didn’t always explain things in a way that was easy to follow. A few people asked questions and, to be honest, he seemed a little annoyed by it. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, but I guess I expected a bit more support from Gate1.
